VALIMAT® - simulation models

VALIMAT® can be run local or in a network cluster and supports the following FE solvers at the moment:

  • LS-Dyna® implicit / explicit
  • Abaqus® implicit / explicit
  • PAM-Crash® explicit

Automatic model setup for the following load cases is available:

  • Free 3-point-bending
  • Tension bending
  • Compression test
  • Puncture test
  • Free bending T-specimen
  • Component test
  • Tensile test
  • Shear Test

Further features:

  • consideration of symmetries (from full model down to 1-element-tests)
  • idealization in shell (quads) or solid (tet or hexa)
  • arbitrary but reasonable element size
  • selection of the most popular element types (under or fully integrated)
